Helloooo!! This is YOUR MORNING SAUCE! Now I’m telling you right now, its Moth Season over here and these guys did not come to play. They really do be living that thug life. I kid you not.
Every morning and every night, they appear in packs. And I’m pretty sure every single time they see me walk in the room, I hear one of them shout, “REGULATORS” and another one across the room shouts back, “Mount up.” LOL
Oooh I’m not playin, the little fluttering suckers be irritating me. BUT, even though I’m annoyed by them, I always find myself in awe of all the living creatures that I share this Earth ball space with.
I always ponder on the thought, ‘Why moths and not butterflies all up in my house playing with emotions every morning and night? WHY?’ Am I right?!
Mmm Isn’t this the beauty of life though? The beauty of the design at hand? The beauty of our ability to wonder? The beauty of imagining a different view or a different story? The beauty of questioning? The beauty of being simultaneously aware of all of it?
One of my favorite studies is on the very act of Observation. Observation is the action or process of watching or being aware of something or someone carefully to gain information.
According to Marlyn vos Savant, “To acquire knowledge, one must study; but acquire wisdom, one must observe.”
This is such a deep-seated statement. In other words, it’s profound. When we allow ourselves to observe, we give our minds an opportunity to expand, to grow, and to LIVE alive.
From the book, Nothing Sexier Than Freedom it reads: “My true ecstasy is to hunt, seek, and find new things in life. ….. Life is beautiful, people are beautiful, different beliefs are mystical, and change is inevitable.”
Today, I invite you to step back and take some moments to just observe. See what is without judgment, without opinion, just an open mind of exploration and wonder.
Roman emperor, Marcus Aurelius said, “Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under thy observation of life.”
When you allow yourself to observe, time becomes an illusion all around you. You notice the small things, and the miracles of the life begin to jump out at you. You may find yourself smiling at work or at lunch time. Other people may find this as some absurdity, but you are alive in wonder. You are awakened to the beauty unfolding all around you.
Allow yourself to smile.

Miracles are blooming all around us. Sometimes they are blooming in areas you least expect it. Open your mind’s eye.
You’re probably wondering how I got all this from moths. Well, I observed the moths. They are weird creatures, with creepy crawly legs and eyes. But I’m pretty sure they were observing me and thought I was funny looking with a big head and wild hair. LOL
